This Sunday April 25th 4-7pm Polkas at the Pearl St
The Good Neighborhood presents -
Sportsmens at the Pearl Sunday concert series
Showcasing the partnership between the Sportsmens Tavern and Pearl Street Grill & Brewery,
while giving Sportsmens staples a new venue to play and an opportunity to support their favorite local non-profit organizations,
who will be present distributing information and running raffles.
Each week's FREE show takes place from 4-7pm

Dyngus Day 2010 is gone.. The TOUCH will be working on a new CD. "It Gets Better" to be released later this year, Also working on the new Website www.thebuffalotouch.com, and new Bookings TBA Stay in Touch! As of this Day April 6th JD says HI and he's doing fine One Day at a Time..This is an email Mar 26th from our partner and great friend Jerry Darlak, many folks have heard Jerry is ill and of course rumors grow and uniformed folks add their own....stories. As Jerry states he is doing great just yesterday we had a rehearsal keeping him up to date with our new material. Jerry is anxious yet cautious regarding his return. Upon completion of his treatments we will let you know his condition. I also would like to thank all the well wishers on fbk etc and the net for their heartfelt words of encouragement, and special thanks to the box and keyboard players for their help while JD is out. We will all keep you informed. Stay in TOUCH

Dear polka friends,
To set the record straight, yes I do have cancer located in the neck area. I am currently undergoing chemo which will be followed by radiation and the doctors assured me that I have a 90% chance of a full recovery providing I do what they say....which I am doing. I would like to thank the musicians who are helping TOUCH during this period of time. I would also like to thank all you people for your thoughts and prayers. It'll be a few months until I'm back on the job and I am looking forward to seeing you all then.

PS: From Joyce: Aside from driving me crazy, Jerry is doing fine. He still hasn't lost his sense of humor or appetite but he did lose all his hair. He kind of looks like Mr. Clean!

Easter Week and the Temperature is Rising. Jerry Darlak says Hi to all our pals and thanks for the many well wishes! Hopes to be back on stage before long... Easter Sunday the Buffalo Touch is on Stage with our good friends Lenny Gomulka and the Push. " Bufalo Dyngus Polkas will be Played by both bands" Anyone who needs advance tickets please let us know! Monday we'll be at the Polish Villa II from 2-6pm. followed by New Direction and then the Piatkowski Brothers! Remember take Tuesday Off!

Made it back from a terrific time in Phoenix Arizona, thanks to the Pulaski Club, Gene Swick, Dave and Princess, Pat and Bob, Ginger, all the folks who made the trip, the Meiers' from Michigan, Marlene from Ohio, Kuhars from Havesu and Mich, the folks from Minnesota, Chicago, LA, vegas, and Phx we love you all and look forward to our return Next year!
